Use accused of Magic, 2 Women's Beheaded
The crowd managed to intercept the police to secure the situation when the victim was beheaded with an ax. Police was forced to stand and watch the procession beheading.
At first, the police ordered the villagers of Bougainville was to let her go. Instead they took an ax and a knife to execute women who they accuse of the murder of a teacher two weeks ago.
"We can not do anything to help the two women," said Police Chief Herman Birengka Bougainville, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Monday (08/04/2013).
"My men were threatened when they went to the area to ask for the woman's release. We were not able to do anything because of the threat. Murder of two women is also done by the savage," he said.
Police said also, the citizens kidnapped suspects witchcraft user by using weapons. Hence, the local police is difficult to save them.
Before the cut, the women had to undergo torture for three days and three nights. Many stab wounds on the victim's body. The house was also burned two women by the citizens. Meanwhile, the family was forced to flee into the woods.
At the beginning of this year, a similar tragedy occurred in one of the villages in Papua New Guinea. But the victims of the incident were burned alive.
