• Don't expect eye contact. Their lack of eye contact has nothing to do with disrespect, but it has everything to do with their Aspergers. Use probing questions to make sure they understand what is expected of them instead of using eye contact as an indicator in their Aspergers education.

• Every child is different from others. Parents should take the time to get to know their children with Aspergers so they understand how they think and operate. Do not put them in a category with your other children or educational failures will occur.

• Use visual cues when at all possible. Children with Aspergers are usually visual learners and they depend on these cues in their Aspergers education. They have difficulty processing oral language so hands-on, visual cues are a tremendous help.

• Do not ask them to show their work on math problems. Children with Aspergers have the ability to come up with answers by processing the information in their heads. • Always try to minimize sensory distractions as much as possible. Ticking clocks, tapping pens, crumbling paper, and other things can be a huge distraction for children with Aspergers. It is impossible to control all sensory distractions, but when at all possible, minimize these distractions.

• Use the IEP as the model for their Aspergers Education. This is their individualized plan for educational success so parents should take advantage of using the IEP.

• Minimize change as much as possible. Allow some transition time before asking a child to do something that is out of their normal routine. Parents should always plan for change as far in advance as possible.

The 21-sentence-essay is an incredibly useful format for formal essay writing. If you have trouble writing essays, or are simply interested in ways to organize thoughts efficiently, follow this easy to use rubric and you can’t go wrong.

The idea is to write an essay in exactly 21 sentences. Three sentences for the Introduction, five sentences for each of the three Body paragraphs, and three sentences for the Conclusion. This amazing structure teaches concision and precision, and also gives a powerful feel for how "flow" works in essay writing.

Let’s break it down. There are three parts to any formal essay: Introduction, body, and conclusion. The 21 sentence essay minimizes these parts down to their core essence.

The introduction starts with a broad statement, something attention grabbing. The second sentence introduces your topic and narrows it toward the final sentence: the thesis statement. The thesis statement is where you state the purpose of your paper, and give three points relating to this thesis. It is the final sentence in the introduction, and is the narrowest of the introduction sentences.

Example Introduction: "Writing essays can be one of the most challenging aspects of school. The 21-sentence-essay gives one an easy rubric to follow. Using this format improves one’s writing by providing structure, keeping relevant information prominent, and encouraging thoughtful word choice."

The body is where you support your thesis, with five sentences in each paragraph. Since you have already stated your three points in your introduction, it should be fairly apparent what your three body paragraphs are about. So what do the five sentences look like?

The first sentence introduces the point to be discussed. The next three sentences are supports for that point, explaining why and how they relate to your thesis. The final sentence is a wrap-up and transition to the next point.
The body paragraphs should follow the same order as they were introduced in the thesis statement, and they should be presented in ascending order of impact. In other words, leave your best points for last!

Example Body: "Providing iron-clad structure improves essay writing. Essays need structure in order for thoughts to flow logically. When readers can’t follow a point, they are not persuaded by an argument. When a writer has a simple format to follow, it removes much of the anxiety surrounding outlining. This rubric’s structure also allows a writer to keep relevant information prominent."

The conclusion is easy. It is simply your introduction in reverse. First comes a restatement of your thesis. Second comes a broader statement about your topic. End with a snappy final line.

JAKARTA - Within two weeks, three students of the Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya record their achievements in two national competitions concrete. Wow! What exactly is the secret of success of the trio? Check this out.

The three students of Civil Engineering Department of the ITS 2011 is M Samson Anam, Henry Trianto, and Danang Prayoga. Apparently, the secret of success winning two distinct competitions within a relatively short period of time is a good preparation.

Depok - Depok City Department of Education to make superior quality improvement program for students Depok. Head of Education Depok Pansila Herry said the program named CIBI.

"CIBI stands for Intelligent Exceptional, Outstanding Talent," he told reporters on Monday (08/04/2013).

He said, CIBI an educational program that brought the city of Depok to look for students who are gifted and achievement. The realization of the existence of this CIBI ie, in the form of construction of a particular class.

The plan, the program will begin in the next academic year. Herry explained, students are able to follow the criteria and is incorporated in CIBI students with intelligence level or have an IQ above average.

"IQ is above 130.'s Will be held for elementary, junior high, and high school, it's going to take a look at new admissions," he explained.

He explained that, although the level of intelligence that a student is above 130, before entering into any classroom first CIBI students must follow the recruitment or selection process. Each student, he said, also must undergo psychological tests that accompanied a psychologist.

If successful and passed the selection test, then the student can join and follow the teaching and learning activities in the classroom CIBI. CIBI was also featured as an existing class in each school.

"So, we'll facilitation CIBI in superior classes, accelerated classes so kind," he said.

Students must also CIBI with achievement not only in academics, but non-academic. Herry said, non-academic achievements in fields such as arts and sports national standard.
